Delegates

The New York Delegates are volunteers who represent the opinions of our New York State members during the Assembly of Delegates (AOD) at the National Convention. The elected chapter member provides input on items of interest for the Association as they relate to New York.

Delegates represent us on the National level and play a vital role for the membership in AMTA. They are your voice. Delegates serve two-year terms.

Delegates are accountable to, and elected by, the membership. According to the National bylaws Delegates must be a professional member in good standing. For a complete position description and frequently asked questions, please log onto The Assembly of Delegates.

  • Kim Corpus, LMT

    Delegate Elect– term: 2024-26

    Kim Corpus is a New York State LMT with over 20 years of clinical experience. She has worked in private practice, hospitals, clinics, and with universities. She has also worked with one of the national chains as a NCBTMB board approved educator to teach standards, set policies, and help move the profession of massage forward. She believes in team oriented integrated care, that is hands on. She is committed to using and sharing evidence-based practices. She has been a professional AMTA member for 15+ years. She currently is serving her 4th term as a NYS Delegate. Drawing on her previous experiences in the field of massage she is passionate about supporting the members and profession throughout New York State.

  • Alexa Goodlander

    Delegate Elect- term: 2025-27

    Alexa has been a New York State licensed massage therapist since 2022 and board certified since 2025. Her practice is located in Williamsville, NY where she specializes in swedish massage, reiki and massage, and aromatherapy massage. In addition to massage therapy she offers reiki sessions, aromatherapy consultations, and teaches holistic wellness based classes.
